Before posting anything more, I wanted to take a moment to send my thoughts to all of those affected – directly and indirectly – by COVID-19.
COVID-19 has had, and will continue to have, increasingly wide-reaching, sometimes devastating, impacts on individuals, families, communities, businesses, and the global economy. I hope that everyone is taking active steps to (at a minimum) follow government guidances and protect themselves, their families and friends, and those around them. I and my firm are doing the same, with most of us working remotely. While it can be very disruptive in many ways, it will be the new normal for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, I plan to continue business as usual as much as possible.
In that regard, as of last night, I have now taught my first video-conferenced class. In some ways, it was actually easier than being there in person; in some ways it was harder. But, at least there was no commuting!
Similarly, my firm’s work and this blog will continue uninterrupted as well.
I will be here, my firm will be doing its part, and we will all be pulling together toward a quick conclusion to the pandemic with as little unnecessary disruption as possible.
Stay home, stay well, and stay safe!
