For the third time is as many years, Iowa tweaked its law governing noncompetes for healthcare employment agency workers.
Initially imposing limits on noncompetes for healthcare employment agency workers in 2022, Iowa narrowed the scope of the limitations in 2023, and now removed the significant penalties (potential loss of registration of the employment agency and fines) for violations of that law.
More changes are coming — there are still 52 active bills around the country and 6 federal bills.
Stay tuned.
