Chamber of Commerce seeks injunction against FTC, Lina Khan

If you’re reading this, you likely know that, on Tuesday, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issued a rule banning noncompetes.

You also likely know that, immediately afterward, Ryan, LLC filed a lawsuit challenging the rule.

In addition, as expected, yesterday, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, joined by the Business Roundtable, the Texas Association of Business, and the Longview Chamber of Commerce, collectively filed their own lawsuit against the FTC and FTC Chair Lina Khan (in her official capacity) in Tyler, Texas.

Today, the docket reflected that the Chamber also filed a motion for a stay of the effective date of the rule and a preliminary injunction preventing enforcement of the rule.
